Nedjeljko Špoljar

Croatia, guest of 6th Brumen (2013) Nedjeljko Špoljar, a self-taught designer and member of the legendary Arkzin, is the business manager and creative director of the Zagreb-based Sensus Design Factory, where he creates designs for cultural clients, book publishers, advertising agencies and a variety of other companies and institutions. His work, exhibited worldwide, has been recognized by a number of prestigious design organizations and publications, including the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Graphis, Type Directors Club New York, Communication Arts Magazine, I.D. Magazine, European Design Annual and Print Magazine, among others. His work has appeared in more than sixty books and periodicals by such publishers as RotoVision, Rockport Publishers, Harper Collins Publishers and Die Gestalten Verlag. It has also been included in the permanent design collections of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana, the Museum Documentation Centre of Zagreb, the Denver Art Museum, Columbia University in New York and the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris.
