Meet the guests of 6th Brumen: Nedjeljko Špoljar

Nedjeljko Špoljar is a principal and creative director of Zagreb-based Sensus Design Factory. He is a self-taught designer who made a final decision about his future career after seeing an exhibition of Mirko Ilić's works in 1992. With Sensus Design Factory, Špoljar creates work for cultural clients, publishers, advertising and a variety of companies and institutions. His work has been exhibited worldwide and recognized by a number of prestigious design organizations and publications, including the American Institute of Graphic Arts - AIGA, the Type Directors Club New York, Communication Arts, I.D. Magazine, Graphis and Print Magazine, among others.

He appeared in over seventy books and periodicals by such publishers as RotoVision, Rockport Publishers, Harper Collins Publishers, PIE Books and Die Gestalten Verlag. Nedjeljko's work is a part of permanent design collections of Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Museum of Architecture and Design Ljubljana, Museum Documentation Center Zagreb, Denver Art Museum, Columbia University New York, Deutsches Buch- und Schriftmuseum, Leipzig and Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris.
