Spain, guest of the 8th Brumen Biennial (2017) In 1995–2001, the multidisciplinary infographer and artist Jaime Serra (1964, Lleida) worked for the Argentinean newspaper Clarín and significantly transformed the language of infographics both in terms of aesthetic criteria and the topics discussed. He has won numerous awards, including Malofiej and Laus. In March 2012, the prestigious organization SND (Society for News Design) awarded him the title of the most influential creator of infographics in the period 1992–2012. In recent years, he has been a regular contributor to the Spanish daily La Vanguardia and the French weekly Courrier International.
