In 2000 Henrik Kubel (1972, Copenhagen) & Scott Williams founded A2/SW/HK, a London based design studio. Recently the team designed custom fonts and a pictogram system for the Moscow Department of Transport. Part of their philosophy is to design a new font for each job they take on. Kubel has designed multiple custom font systems for clients across the world such as The New York Times Magazine, the UK Government, The Independent newspaper and Wired magazine. In 2010 the team set up A2-TYPE as a platform for releasing and distributing their fonts. Scott and Henrik are members of Alliance Graphique Internationale, AGI.
