Pierre Bernard (1942-2015)

On Monday evening, 21 November 2015, Pierre Bernard died in Paris.
He was a key figure of the world-famous Grapus group, established in 1970, which has had a significant influence on graphic design all over the world.
Pierre Bernard was our esteemed guest in 2007, at the 3rd Brumen Biennial.

Awarded Illustrations

Tomato Košir, well known Slovene graphic designer and member of Brumen Foundation, has also won international recognition as an illustrator, mainly with his illustrations for the cover of Sunday supplement of Slovene daily Dnevnik.

Niko Kralj

On Monday, 15 July 2013, at 92 years of age, died Niko Kralj, the father of the folding chair Rex and the most important figure in post-war industrial design in Slovenia.

Zdravko Papič

1953-2013

Graphic designer, illustrator, professor in the department of Visual Communications at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design (1991-2013), winner of the Golden Bird (1981) and Prešeren Fund Award (1996), also active in the field of marketing (author of  the linden leaf sign for the campaign Slovenia, my country, member of the jury of the first Magdalena Festival 1999), animation, comics.
